1988 Monte Carlo LS, 305 V8. Last of the rear wheel drive Montes, and the only American made car with a carburetor sold in 1988 (only 30,174 Montes were built in ‘88). Original owner. Car was a garage queen for the first 5 years of life (only driven 30K miles during this period), followed by 10 years as daily driver, then put into storage since 2003. It's not perfect, but as almost 30 year old cars go, this one isn't bad. It’s essentially a 30 year old car with 10 years worth of wear.All original. Interior is excellent for a car this old, and the headliner was replaced about 2 years before being placed into storage. Rare sport package, console shifter.Car has been kept in humidity controlled garage since 2003. It has not been started since put into storage (fuel was drained), but the engine and trans worked well when put into storage, but it does have 147K miles on the drive train. Could be easily restored or kept as a patina gem with a little TLC.
