I have a rare 1981 Tran Am Turbo with 42,000 original miles barn find. From what I can tell this is an all original car from the paint to the drivetrain. This car will run and has patina from siting so long. Pictures show it's present condition. Car is very solid with a few rust issues you can see from pictures. This car needs a restoration and its a great starting point for restoration. It's never been taken apart it's all there. With a little work this could be a driver. Clean title Located in Mesa, Arizona. This vehicle will run and drive but the carburetor needs adjusting or rebuild its running very rich in fuel. Turbo cars where only built for two years for the second generation Trans Am 1980 and 1981. Been asked allot if this car can drive long distance and the answer is no. This vehicle would need a tune up, carb rebuilt and tires to do any trip. The engine and transmission is good but just needs maintenance done from sitting so long. Hagerty Values the 1981 Trans Am Turbo at a low of $9000 and High of $46,000 and NADA values it at a low of $12,000 to high of $47,000. This car has allot of potential for restoration.
