Hello! We are the largest independent JAGUAR & LAND ROVER service and restoration facility on the east coast. We have had this Jaguar sitting around for awhile. We just did some maintenance work and before coming to us it had over $4000 worth of work done to it locally. I don't know much about the car, but we do have a binder with some paperwork and records as well as an ebay add from 2010 when the car was bought by a local Yankees fan and brought to NJ. To quote the ad - "You are bidding on my 1984 JAGUAR XJS COUPE. This car was originally purchased new by Don Mattingly of the New York Yankees, shipped to Evansville, Indiana and given to Marge Sexton his Mother-in-law as a gift." Make an offer, lets move it to the next owner as we really need to make room in the shop and on the lot. This is a good light project for someone who wants a good solid XJS to tinker with. Expect misc issues and flaws associated with a car of this age and mileage. No know major defects or issues, but it has been sitting around.
