I am selling this very desirable 1979 Pontiac Trans Am, with factory T-tops, to help an older gentleman who is no longer able to finish his dream. He started this project about 25 years ago when he was younger and healthy. He removed the factory 403 cubic inch V8 engine and transmission to restore the car and, unfortunately, someone stole them. This pretty much stopped his plan and it stayed in the barn ever since. The body is straight and has most of its original finish, but it does have rust issues. Plan on doing some welding in order to fix the car right. All of the glass, including the T-tops, are in good condition. The seats are in good condition and the rest of the interior is okay. It rolls fine on a set of very old, dry rot Dunlop GT/Qualifiers. The car is at least 99% complete - other than the engine and transmission.
