Vehicle Detail
Very clean interior/exterior. Runs great. Car is very quiet, smooth, no knocking or smoking, all original in great condition for year and mileage. New tires with about 700 miles on them. Cold ac and hot heater. Everything works, cruse control, power seats/windows/sunroof, blue tooth aftermarket hands free stereo. Full size spare tire. Never wrecked. I had trunk lid repainted due to small spot where clear coat was peeling and I replaced front and rear bumper covers and painted to match. Car has minor scratches around that I touched up with touchup paint coded to match from dealer so paint is original and shiny but there are scratches I touched up all around car that were there when I purchased it. They are not that noticeable from a far but if you do a close inspection, you could see details of repair. Has one ding on rear drivers side panel by back tire where antenna is about the size of a quarter but is not deep and not that noticeable. I replaced headliner to match interior using padded headliner material for cost purposes and looks quite good. New alternator, valve cover gasket and air flow sensor. I have included a picture of engine when I replaced valve cover gasket to show how clean engine is. New battery and break pads all around and recent oil change with synthetic oil. New fan belt as well for peace of mind. I also purchased transmission pan gasket but never got around to replacing it but it is in trunk. After reading up on the process to change it, I figured it would be best left to experts. It may have a little drip of transmission fluid but I have not seen anything on my drive way lately but it is there if you choose to replace it. The oil drip was from Valve cover gasket and is no longer leaking. The most important question will be about the popular failed wire harness. I didn't see the need to replace it since everything is working wonderfully and as you can see in the engine pic, wiring harness isn't deteriorated (as per my inspection) and plastic coating isn't cracked. I purchased car and fixed it up myself as a project car then found an E420 and purchased it as well and finally finished both of them up and recently punched another E420 project car so one has to go and I decided to sell this one. Unfortunately, parts on this one don't fit the E420's. I have spent time and money on this vehicle since my goal was to keep it but found my favorite E420 and didn't plan to own 3. That's the story behind this gem. I am probably the 4th owner and mileage is original and odometer does still work. Car is a great drive and VERY clean. If you have ANY questions or would like an inspection in person, please contact me or if you need to see more pics of certain areas, please ask prior to bidding. I have learned a lot working on this project and am proud to say it is a very good reliable car. You will be joyed to own it and enjoy driving it for many more miles. I can deliver car if needed for additional fee within a certain range/city (check with me prior to bidding)I can pick you up at San Antonio Airport if you arrange a flight for pickup in person.I feel I have thoroughly explained car's condition and repairs to the best of my knowledge to ensure a smooth happy purchase but if you have ANY questions or concerns, contact me for clarification and I will do my best to address them. Will only sell to United States purchaser (except Hawaii & Puerto Rico).
