This is a classic unmolested original 1976 Suzuki GT550 two-stroke triple. Everything is there, everything works. The bike is a blast to ride, and I have ridden it (not trailered it...) to bike week in Daytona in the past (Daytona is 80 miles down the road from me). Everything works, including the oil injection. This bike is a blast to ride, there is nothing quite like hitting that two-stroke powerband. Also nothing quite like looking in your mirror and seeing that great trail of smokey two-stroke exhaust when you hammer the throttle...no one ever followed me too close on this thing!, While the bike is all there and looks great it is far from a show bike. The chrome has those little rust bumps, seat has a few rips, lenses on the gauges are kind of foggy etc.. This is an old bike in reasonable shape, not a show bike. I had the tank creamed when I got it, and the paint on the tank and side covers is good. This bike has been stored inside, as in my bedroom and dining room, for the last three years. it runs great but will need the usual basic maintenance (battery, fuel system check etc.) prior to starting and I will be happy to take an hour and help the new owner get her cranked up before you take possession. The bike is located in my dining room just south of Jacksonville FL and anyone is welcome to come by and inspect prior to the end of the auction. I am also listing a Honda CL360 and maybe some other bikes that I have inside and must now go (wife's patience wearing after three years...go figure...). Clean, clear Florida title of course.
