1979 Honda CB750L Limited Edition, 10th Anniversary, only 14k miles, outstandingHere are way more pics than Ebay will allow: https://kwc.smugmug.com/1979-Honda-CB750L Here is a video so you can hear it run:https://youtu.be/MaRz2rnHr-wThe visible exhaust is partly because it is running a little rich and partly because pipes had water in from washing ___________________________________________ Features 14,857 miles stock except for 4 into 2 aftermarket pipes (Jardine or Mac) has the passenger grab rail one key, tool kit and Clymer manual owner's manual (not the "special" Anniversary one, but a 1979 one) dealer brochure for the bike included in perfect condition ___________________________________________ Recent service new front tire, back one has very little wear oil and filter new air filter and plugs replaced one cracked intake boot rebuilt front brake caliper and front brake master, new fluid reservoir new front brake pads rear shoes are fine install Spiegler stainless brake line new battery new stator cover gasket lubed chain carbs balanced new throttle, choke and clutch cables flushed fuel tank new/used CDI boxes installed built new ignition wires with new boots _________________________________________________ Mechanical condition everything works except the trip reset button starts easily and idles readily, very snappy throttle response has had an aftermarket stator put in in the past good solid brake feel (stainless line) and smooth through the gears no leaks from rear shocks or fork seals running it in with some Seafoam in tank as running a little rich will add a K&N this week to lean it out some may simply be that the bike wasn't rejetted properly for the aftermarket pipes a little stutter on accel while cold and pops a little on deceleration as a result if you leave it for a few weeks it will squeeze out a few drops of oil, not much tho ___________________________________________________ Cosmetic condition overall the bike looks great for the year, a real head turner chrome is in nice shape, minimal pitting aluminum on fork lowers very nice aluminum on Comstar wheels very clean engine has age-appropriate all-over patina seat in great shape, two tiny (<1/4" splits) were touched up with black silicone vertical crease in tank behind right emblem with two small paint pops (dent doctor may be able to fix) some zipper scratches on tank and another tiny ding some scratches on right side cover, this cover has also had mounting points repaired left side cover is like new some rash on left mirror stalk, tiny bit on headlight bezel and some on gauge pod (shown in pics) slight rash at end of right mufflerthese little cosmetic issues don't really detract from the overall appeal of the bike but it is not show-perfect obviously ________________________________________________________ Sale details $500 deposit due through Paypal within 48 hours of auction end this deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE if you do not follow through on the sale for your own reason also....the ENTIRE COST of the bike cannot be paid through Paypal, just the deposit full payment due at pickup within 10 days of auction end if possible; if not possible, email me to notify I CAN ship this motorcycle or possibly deliver, email for details
