I am selling this 42,700, original mile, survivor 1965 Chevrolet Impala convertible to help an older gentleman who is no longer able to finish his dream. He purchased this car from his good friend about 30 years ago and has always kept it inside. He had good intentions of doing a little body work, priming it and painting it cherry red. Over time, he did some body work, put it in primer, made sure it was mechanically ready to go and detailed the engine compartment. With his health fading, this is where he stopped. The two pieces of trim pictured in the trunk belong above the headlights. The interior and power top are in great condition. It has all five complete Chevrolet rally wheels with old Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires that could use to be replaced. The factory AM/FM radio and clock do not work. The car - with its original 283 cubic inch V8 engine and powerglide transmission - starts, runs drives, shifts, brakes, handles and sounds excellent. It's an absolute pleasure to drive.
