No plates, registration or insurance. Must be towed. Volkswagon 2000, Super Beetle, 1.8 Turbo, 84,786 Miles ONLY. Third owner, driven by my elderly mother who passed in 2010, I owned it than, and passed it to my Fiance. Repairable or sell for parts. All highway driven, great project car. HID XENON Headlights,installed 2010. Four like new, used only one season during the winter - Michelin Ice-X Tires that grip the ice like studs for traction, Mountain and Snow rated. Rear Hatchback works perfect. Air conditioner Ice Cold, plenty of heat. Power driver seat only. Sunroof is actually a full Moonroof, tinted glass with shade, tips up or down and fully opens with the turn of an autonomous switch. GREAT college car. Normal wear and tear on body. Here is a list of what needs to be fixed: Mechanical: * Transmission needs to be serviced, hard shift first gear into second. Might need parts or replacement. Was brand new, installed by dealer 2011 as the second Transmission from Germany. * Hood piston needs to be replaced, no hood rod * Defogger/Defroster works intermittently. Crack on metal tube piping for antifreeze. Not bad, no leak, just smells. Heater core is fine. * Radio antenna needs replacement. Cassette works perfectly * Turbo seems to have an issue of overcharging, therefore creating a none sync communication with the transmission and the defroster therefore blowing some air when you step on the pedal. * Brand new battery, holds charge as long as it is constantly driven. Seems to be an electrical draw that renders the battery dead. Just needs a jump start if not driven every day, or battery might be defective, still under warranty, or draw needs to be fixed. Interior and Exterior Minimal Fixable Items:* Driver's side door interior needs to be re-glued and flushed* Driver's side dial for mirror adjustments cracked off* Glove Box and Spring detached* Driver's side automatic unlock for doors spring missing* Battery Terminal plastic clip snapped, but closes* New York City Sanitation Plow Clipped off the lower center spoiler with fog lights ***Vehicle is sold AS IS, no warranties whether written, expressed or implied
