Vehicle Detail
NEED TO SELL One of a kind in its day with raised roof conversion. 3/4 ton 2500 4x4 GMC suburban. Just smogged and licensed with new BF Goodrich All Terrains (33x12.50x16.5). This conversion was completed by American Truck and Van Conversion from Bakersfield, CA by original owner. I was told when I bought this that actor Patrick Duffy (who starred in tv show Dallas) was original owner but this can't be verified as accurate. I do have paper work on this conversion stating his name. I am the second owner since 1993. New torque convertor, catalytic convertor, and computer. This is set up for California smog. Needs paint and some interior work (like driver seat torn at seams and material around rear air housing needs to be restretched. Has older tv (no longer works) cobra CB radio, vcr, and separate CD player which no longer works. New Kenwood stereo with CD was installed. Was going to install new speaker system but never got to it, so it does need new speakers. Had a total of 8 speakers with 4 running the tv but these no longer work since the original radio was removed. Has 6 headphone jacks for radio and tv but system is out of date so would have to be upgraded by audio professional. Wood trim everywhere with mood lighting also has tray tables behind front captain chairs. VCR is installed where spare tire originally went. This has rear window with tailgate and not barn doors. Truck has sat in shop for 3 years with non-op due to torque convertor going out. Just now replaced and Turbo 400 transmission works like new. Has front and rear receiver hitch with plug sockets for portable wench which we do not have. Has second battery box for wench. There is an ice chest under front middle seat with drain as well as three 12 volt plugs for second and third row seating and one behind third seat. 2 storage compartments in rear and 2 above front seats. 4 reading lamps for second and third row seating. Does smoke slightly on startup due to possible bad valve stem seals otherwise good running 350 engine. Flowmaster muffler. Did compression check and everything was normal. Passed smog on 1st try. Truck has been in California its whole life and has never been off road since we've owned it. Only used for family vehicle. If you have any questions about anything please ask.
