This is a no reserve auction for a 1972 Chevelle. We are going to run a clean auction and no one with less than a feedback score of 10 will be allowed to bid without contacting me first. I have been charged with offering a Chevelle to you for sale. The title to this 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle is free and clear. The vin tag in the windshield, on the door, and the cowl tag are with the car. The numbers all match. Inspections are welcomed and encouraged. If you want a $35,000-$45,000+ Chevelle you should be prepared to recondition this original GM body in the proper manner to reach your desired outcome for your dream Chevelle. I will honestly answer any and all questions that you ask. We have a 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle for you to consider. It isn't a complete car, but everything needed to restore it is readily available from various suppliers. There is no engine or transmission. This car is an original from the factory a/c and power steering car. It has some Super Sport parts on it. The family believes it is a true Super Sport. I believe someone has put some Super Sport parts on a regular Chevelle/Malibu or it is a Heavy Chevy version of the Chevelle. However, I could be wrong. I am not sure. I am only basing my opinion on the following fact; the dash doesn't have the circular tach gauges. It has the Chevelle/Malibu style speedometer. However, it could have been switched out and used on another Chevelle. I haven't looked for a build sheet. The front door panels are gone(a good spot to find the SS build sheet). This Chevelle does have the correct SS 12 bolt rearend, boxed lower control arms, and sway bar. You can build an SS tribute, prostreet, or your own custom vision. It's up to you. The family would like to get $4500 for this Chevelle. I have been charged with finding a new owner and I have the authority to sell this Chevelle. With that said, if you know that you are willing to pay $4500 please let me know and we can set up the buy it now feature for you through Ebay. However, if no one is willing to pay this amount prior to someone bidding on this 1972 Chevelle the decision has been made to let the high bidder have the car at the end of the auction. This Chevelle will be sold. The high bidder gets the car. You can buy it or bid on it. It comes with everything that you see in the photos. It has a great frame(the rear cross member on the frame is broken away from the passenger side rear of the frame and needs repair. Please see the photo). There are noticeable signs of a rear end collision when you look at the bumper(you can see the dented trunk lid in the background of the picture of the bottom of the passenger side door). The wheel alignment and door gaps are great. I would install driver and passenger side full length front to rear floor pans in the floors(you could also choose to use the full floor pan without the braces. It depends on your preference.) two new quarter panels, a one piece trunk, trunk drop downs, and new tail panel. None of the other areas have been touched. This Chevelle has not been butchered or cut up in a manner that would be detrimental to restoring it to factory specifications. This is a rolling body that needs restoration. The rocker panels, tulips, and the firewall are solid. The roof had an indention in it, but when I removed all of the parts out of the car I punched up into it and it popped back into place. I see no creases in it. There is no hood. The doors are in pretty good shape. This Chevelle does come with all glass (the windshield is cracked), lower windshield chrome, 1970 Chevelle SS rear bumper minus the SS pad, some 4 barrel intakes, original wiring harness, a lot of trim pieces were inside of the car, some of the trim is for the windows, and the rear bumper is with the car. Please see the photos. It is a very buildable car that can be converted into your dream car. It is very solid where it needs to be. If you look closely at the photos you will see all of these areas. Once again, I would install driver and passenger side full length front to rear floor pans in the floors(you could also choose to use the full floor pan without the braces. It depends on your preference.)it will need a complete trunk pan, trunk drop downs, full quarter panels, rear frame cross member, and a tail panel. If you need tires that will hold air put on the car prior to pickup you should let me know and I can take care of that for you. I will assist you or your transporter at pickup.
