This is a 1981 Mercedes Benz 380SL. .It is a very clean, very rustfree 380SL. Shows 107,750 miles on the odometer or so. Was bought new in Santa Rosa , California with original dealer paperwork, factory manuals and warranty book. It has been Arizona most its life since. Phoenix then down in Tucson where I got it.The previous owner had it off the road in storage since 2011. He was getting it ready for the road again when I got it. He did plugs, new battery, pump, filters,etc and had it up and running pretty well. It runs up and down the road fine but I have no long distance miles on it . Runs smooth, quiet and nice. There is a lot of paperwork with it showing service over the years, Newer tires, 4 new motor mounts installed at dealer ,over 2500 bucks worth AC work done at a Mercedes dealer including new Benz compressor, suction pipe, drier, etc.Done about 8,000 miles ago. Though I do not think it is up and running 100 % now as it is not blowing cold. Maybe needs freon charge from sitting in storage . The interior is not bad. Though the drivers seat bottom needs work. The soft top is probably original as it is torn in a couple places over the frame and the rear window is a bit yellow. I did not close it all the way down on the windshield to prevent any further tearing. Whether this top can be saved is unknown, but plan on replacing it. The factory hardtop is in nice shape. . Main thing about this SL is how nice , straight and rustree the body is. It is a beauty. Paint is still nice with a few small scratches here and there. The front right corner has a small dent nd te corner marker light is broken there, I tried to show it in a picture. These cars are great values. This car is as rustfree and nice a body you will ever find this side of brand new. This car needs some work, but with a body as nice as this, it will be worth the effort. Full payment within 7 days of auction end.I travel up and down the west coast with my truck and trailer and might be able to get it close to you. And I can get this car delivered to Long Beach, California shippers for $250 if you are overseas.
