I welcome you all to my auction and hope that you understand (particularly you late night watchers, underage children and husbands with financially finicky wives) that this is a no reserve auction and your bid is a binding contract to buy my beautiful Custom Cruiser. That written-and please eBay, I'm trying to be nice, albeit succinct, with my vocabulary so as to no offend those who peruse your site-read on to learn more about this original 29K car from an endearing old man who shed a tear when I drove her away. Let's Do The Time Warp Again! Seriously, this Olds Wagon was made when car horns sounded like Mack trucks, when you could ride backwards away from your parents and where ashtrays were everywhere! In fact, you could flick your ashes while riding backwards, because, if you look close, there's one right above the locking storage compartment! This wagon was never smoked in and ALWAYS garaged. The 95 year-old original owner (Paul) only put 29,430 miles on it with his longest trip a couple of years ago in the Appalachian mountains of Pennsylvania. This Olds runs like a new car and everything works, including the power windows and locks, air conditioning and faux digital clock! She floats right down the road peacefully with no noises at all and the power brakes stop on a dime. The interior is in perfect condition, but I did notice that the antenna is bent and doesn't move, although the stock radio does work just fine. There's no rust anywhere and only minor surface rust on some parts of the undercarriage. It does have that crease along the back fender, which I've taken a close picture, so that you are aware of it and Paul says he's sorry for his one and only accident with the extended land yacht. I have all the original manuals and title. If you're looking for an all original, low mileage woody wagon for a low price, you won't find a nicer one that's ready to cruise. Please keep in mind that this is a no reserve auction and your bid is a legally binding agreement to purchase the vehicle. If you make a bid, I'll assume that you've already kicked the tires, asked the significant other and have funds available. Also, ask any and all questions before making a bid, as I want to make sure you know everything you need to before making your decision. That written, I'm building an impressive eBay feedback profile under Shamrockautomotive and have another 2,400 all positive comments under my other eBay name, which is smileylink, so you may bid with confidence. I'm just a retired guy who loves cars and has embarked on a fun way to support my pension. Feel free to have the car inspected or come by to take it for a test drive. I do reserve the right to end the auction early, as the car is also going to be up for sale today at Shamrock Automotive and at the upcoming "Cruizin Telegraph" show on the 23rd of July. The buyer will be responsible for having the car shipped, but I'll be happy to pick you up at Detroit Metropolitan Airport if you want to fly in and drive her home. A nonrefundable $500 deposit will be due via Paypal within 24 hours of the auction end and full payment in the form of cleared certified check, Paypal or cash in person by 3 days with no exceptions. Thank you! BTW-I took the Custom Cruiser for a cruise yesterday and she was running hot. It didn't overheat, but the antifreeze looked rusty and the coolant light came on. Today, I'm having the radiator and transmission lines replace so she'll run nice and cool. Just an FYI-thanks. "> DO NOT DUPLICATE OR COPY!
