Selling my 2002 Chevy Trailblazer. Overall it is in pretty decent condition, interior is nice with exception of carpet especially by the drivers seat, it is dirty and stained. Exterior is starting to rust, see photos. All lights, switches, cruise control, air-conditioning, stereo, power seat controls, power locks and windows are functional. No rips, tears or stains on the seats. Exhaust is good, tires and brakes were done at 118k miles. Tires have lots of tread, comes with a full sized spare on a GM rim. Windshield and all windows are good, no chips or cracks. Engine starts easily and runs strong. Here is what is wrong with it: Transmission cooling line rusted through, leaking trans fluid out and overheating the transmission. Had the mechanic patch the cooling line and check the transmission. It is damaged, it slips and does not shift properly. It is drivable, but needs repair. I have driven it a few times, about 10 miles, and speeds up to 55, it works, but needs repair. The other issue it has, is the rear tailgate is stuck closed. Lock/latch mechanism is bad. The tailgate window does open, but does not lock. I have driven it this way for several years. Recent repairs include a new battery last fall, new front wheel hubs, and tie-rod ends. I am the second owner of this vehicle, purchased locally, first owner lived 5 miles away. This sale is as is/where is, no warranty expressed or implied. There is no shipping. Vehicle must be picked up in Medford, WI.
