This is a super clean, accident free, mostly southern car with no rust. I have been fortunate enough to enjoy this car for the past 5 1/2 years since purchasing it form the previous owner in Georgia. I have used it for Sunday drives and it has been garaged kept. I am sad to see her go, but we are moving. Those of you who know, love and understand these cars will appreicate the timeless venerable OM 617 - 5 cylinder engine. This car makes a fantastic appearance and drives beautifully with tons of power. She comes with a Silver Star certificate recognizing the preservation of its orginality. The second badge on the grill is from the orginial owner's tour of the plant in Germany. The orginial Mercedes date plate and brake in card are inlcuded. The radio is the originial Becker with the correct Hirschman antenna.Recognizing she is 33 years old, there are minor imperfections. There is a small piece of wood trim missing as shown in the photos. Although the majority of the paintwork is in great shape, the paint is original and is showing slight weakness and swirl marks in a few areas as pictured, including a spot on the sunroof and a very light superficial scratch on the driver's side. The dashboard has typical cracking. The blower motor is sometimes intermittent, possibly a switch. Passenger window does not go down. These issues do not take away from the beauty and the performance of the car. Passed state inspection with no issues. Inspection valid through 10/16. I have diligently waxed the car, changed the oil, oil filter, fuel filter, fuel prefilter and air filter during my ownership. The car runs clean with no blue or excessive smoke, although it leaves a small oil drip on the driveway. This car has never seen snow or salt. I have never driven the car during the winter. I replaced the padding on the front seats as they were sagging a little and now they are really firm although there is a little slit on the driver's seat bottom.
