1964-1/2 Ford Mustang Pace Car CoupeThis 1964-1/2 Ford Mustang Pace Car Coupe is one of just 190 made for the Ford Dealers Checkered Flag Green Flag event celebrating the Mustang being the Official Pace Car of the 1964 Indy 500. In all my research I have not even been able to come up with more than 40 of these cars still in existence. Not to say my research is fool proof but even at the 190 it is a rare car just the same. This car is a project car but a worthwhile project car just the same due to it's rarity. I am limited to how many pictures I can list on Ebay but have many more in a Dropbox file I can share with interested parties. The car needs much of the exterior panels repaired or replaced and the floors to be finished. The seats are in original upholstery and in great shape. Needs new carpeting and dash pad and such. The car comes with the original 260 engine but it is out of the car and I am unsure of the condition of it as it currently has a 302 in it that is not very good. As you will see in the pics the radiator support clearly shows the verification of this as one of the original and early I might add (April 21,1964) Pace Car Coupes.The car is for sale locally as well so if it sells I reserve the right to end the auction early.
