Rare 1955 GMC 1st series 1/2 ton truck 248 6cyl engine, hydra-matic transmission. This is a rust free Arizona truck. I bought it ten years ago from a gal who bought out the inventory of an art gallery that was closing its business. The GMC was a part of the inventory. The engine and transmission, like just about everything else, is original. six volt system. The exhaust system was replaced a few years ago The seat was redone last year. I am including spare tire rack [uninstalled}. Master cylinder is rebuilt. I have a new gas tank installed but haven't hooked up the line. The tires are old bias ply and should be replaced. The wiring is original and should also be replaced. Headlights and tail light are not hooked up.The shocks should also be replaced.There is a chip in the windshield, The rest of the glass is good.I start the engine periodically and it runs smooth. The steering gear box seems good. The doors don't sag.This is a project so you should bid accordingly. This is being sold As Is.
