Up for sale is my daughter's Jeep Liberty. She's in WV and I'm in CA, I am not there to look at the vehicle and get details, and she is not mechanically inclined. CHECK OUT THE SOLID STEEL CUSTOM-MADE BUMPER AND LIGHT BAR! We purchased this from a church friend a couple years ago for my daughter. He put an OLD MAN EMU LIFT KIT on it, and custom made, welded a solid steel bumper with light cross bar. It needs some attention, how much, I'm not exactly sure because I can't get my daughter to assess it. All I know is last summer, her and I drove it up and down the east coast without any issues. I had it checked out by my mechanic check it out right before that, and fixed some minor stuff (wheel bearing replaced, heater fan repaired) and also had the catalytic converters replaced. He said then it had no other issues. Lately it has been overheating. It could simply be the coolant is low, or the thermostat is faulty. I can't tell and I don't really want to have her take it to a shop and be taken advantage of not knowing about cars. She's leaving college and I just am going to sell the vehicle and get her a "new" one. I did get her to check the oil, and it was low. She topped it off and has had no leak or drop in level or pressure. I asked her to send me pics, and this is what she gave me. As you can see, the interior is in good shape! I replaced the driver's seat because the reclining lever broke and with her using a screw driver to adjust the seat, it wore down the threads. It was easier to just replace the seat, so the color doesn't match the others. I also took out the factory stereo and quickly put in an Alpine stereo. I did it as I was passing through town, and so didn't have time to hide the microphone wire for the bluetooth hands free. Also, it doesn't get the best radio reception, and I am fairly sure the antenna got loose when I was fiddling around. She didn't care so I didn't waste my time trying to take it out and reconnect as I had to fly back home. She didn't take pictures of the engine or the odometer. I am having her do that and I will post pictures in a couple days. We replaced the tires last year too. There are some deep scratches into the body on the passenger side, when she scraped against a railing. I chose not to repair it. The vehicle has had no major accidents otherwise.It's just been too much hassle and too difficult to try to figure out what's wrong with it 3000 miles away, so I'm just gonna sell it. NO RESERVE. You may get something that only needs some TLC. In any case, even if you plan to just use it for parts, it will be worth a pretty penny. The CUSTOM STEEL BUMPER AND LIGHT BAR is probably worth a few hundred alone! The stereo, interior parts and lift kid definitely will be worth whatever it sells for. (An accurate odometer reading will be posted, once she sends me the picture of the dash.)
