Vehicle Detail

Very low mileage for a 2004. This car short of 70,000 miles. I work from home and travel a lot so in the last 5 years since I own it the car hasn't been used for commuting even. No accidents ever. The tires were replaced less than 5000 miles ago. 2 years ago I replaced the front light bulbs + battery + wire harnesses and fixed all electric details. Everything works. The rear glass in the hood is becoming lose and will need to be glued at some point. I don't really care so I never bothered to fix it as I mostly use it with the top down. The mechanics of the top work perfectly and the hood is in great condition other than the glass. The interior and exterior are both in good condition. Every feature of the car works. I replaced the CD changer with a Bluetooth receiver and upgraded the speakers. You can have the CD changer if you want to reverse the change. The car has no major mechanical problems. It's had all the recommended services done at the dealership. I'm very meticulous with repairs and usually replace parts rather than repair them. For full disclosure, the transmission sometimes does a funny thing where it will take a little longer to shift. It's not all of the time. I have taken it to a VW specialist and he assured me there's no risk to the transmission (checked fluids, etc) that it's a small digital control that works as a slider which might be a bit dirty. He recommended I wait until I need something else to fix it so I don't pay for the labor of pulling the car apart just for that. He assures me there's no risk to the transmission and estimates that I can keep driving like this for another year or two with no problem. As I said, it's not all the time, it's random. The car is being sold as is. No warranty available. You're welcome to see it if you're local.
