I have here a nice Mercedes V12 SL600, the car was abandoned up in RI back in 2009 after the guy had a small accident but never payed for the repair, I purchased it from the guy that done the work in New York with a signed New York notary Bill Of Sale, I contacted the last owner who is in Illinois but he wants nothing to do with the car, he has no title and does not wish to get one. I did contact the NJDMV special title unit and the NJSP, they both told me that the car is not stolen, a title can be gained through the courts, if the guy had applied in NY for a title the same way it would of got a salvage title and it does not deserve that. The car could do with a good clean there is concrete splashes on hood and a few scratches here and there so should be professionally cleaned and painted, I'm just seeing if there is any interest at this price otherwise I will go via the courts to get title and put the price up. The car drives great, roof works good (no hard top) it's been serviced by MB for most of it's life, no rust small hole drivers seat side put a dealer plate on it and drive it home. Airbag light on so needs service.
