up for sale is a 1955 t-bird, I have owned and garaged this bird for 12 years, bought from a collector of t-birds estate back then who has passed away. he was a collector of t-birds and restored them, as I said I bought the car from the estate and they only gave me the info they knew, it runs like a clock 292 v/8 starts right up and runs smooth, no smoke no noise, trans shifts fine car is registered and insured in my name for the last 12 yrs. its been garaged since I owned it and the previous owners also. paint and restro was done when I bought it, paint and body still in good condition, has nice cooker wide whitewall tires with wirewheel chrome rims with spinners ,dual bumper exhaust tips, has white hard top which is in good condition(cardboard headliner needs replacing) soft white convertible top and boot cover as shown in pic's( canvas is still good but has two holes on either side from being folded up can be patched) I never used the tops so they just sat there. doors shut fine, has books, overall a nice looking t-bird nice driver not perfect needs some trim pieces to finish, has power windows they were both working but now the drivers side is not working, passenger side works fine( it may be a loose wire) have some part which will go with car. tach and clock are not installed, dash and chrome in good shape, seat is nicely redone, carpet nice,door panels in good shape (need aluminum trim) under carriage in good shape, new fuel pump, gas tank replaced, gas gauge not hooked up, speedometer not working, all lights work fine, again it needs a little to finish up. nice color combo and still ready to drive and finish up. look at photos and if you have any questions please ask before you hit the buy it now button, I will answer them as honestly as I can, it is a 61 year old car after all and still runs and looks good! inspections are available and encouraged upon request before you. buy it. selling as is, Thanks
