I can 100% guarantee you this is the cleanest NX250 you will ever find. And probably the lowest mileage. The bike has been upgraded and upgrades will be listed below. I absolutely love this bike and put a lot of work and time into it. I am in no rush to sell it but will have a discussion with anybody that is legitimately interested. If you are not familiar with the NX250 check out Adventure Rider thread on it. In short this bike is amazing and as you have probably seen 250cc (250) bikes are coming back and are becoming very popular. I have ridden brand new WR250 and this NX feel just as quick and snappy but quite a bit more comfortable with lower seat hight and more dual sport oriented suspension. Considering its 27 years old it is very modern. DOHC motor with electric start that makes 26hp. It only weights about 300lbs wet and has some really good pick up and go. I bought the bike not in the greatest shape, but i have totally restored it.Lets get to the bike itself and upgrades i have done: - New professional paint job only about 2 month old. Plastics are in a very good shape. I got new hardware from Honda where it was missing. Plastic on these bikes is brittle and had some cracks which i plastic welded with a special tool. - Front fork is upgraded with progressive Hyper Pro Springs and matching Hyper Pro oil. Original springs are very soft, they caused the bike to nose dive like crazy. These springs totally fixed the issue and the bike feels 100 times better. - Rear shock has been replaced with a Suzuki Bandit adjustable shock. This makes a huge difference. Raises the ground clearance quite a bit. The shock has preload and dampening adjustment. - Protaper bar with bar risers. Much more comfortable than stock. I do wish i got an even taller bar. Right now its more of a dirt bike feel vs dual-sport. Its very similar to wr250, drz400, tw200, dr200. - Rear rack with Givi box. I'll keep this if you don't want the box. - Seat has been recovered and 1" of extra foam has been added. You can easily ride this bike for an entire day and won't have a numb ass. Just the cost of the seat recovering was $200. - Tires have tread but the front tire looks a bit dry aged. I was planning on replacing them but just never got around to doing it. There are no leaks and the bike feels good on both paved and non paved roads. -Battery Tender Lithium battery. Brand new. - The bike only has about 4100 miles! These are original miles. - Clean title in hand. All fluids have been replaced and bike is in an awesome shape. I hate to get rid of it and not in a hurry to sell. But i just hate to see it sit and not be ridden. I bought a dr650 because i always wanted a bike with just a bit more power. I love the DR650 but this NX is just so light and fun to ride. I could have easily made this NX into a long haul adventure bike but after I painted it I felt like i will beat it up and will be too concerned about scratching the paint or dumping it.
