Let me start by saying, this hurts to do this!! This has been my car for the last 10 years. A lot has changed since I first got it. This was just a painted body with a drive train. I've put a lot of time and money into it over the years. But..... I rarely drive it. Maybe I drive it 10 times a year just to keep the parts moving. It's not Mint, but it's a nice cruiser. Bought a lot of parts to put it together. I know the hood and grille are from a plain Jane Javelin. It's what was available to me at the time. The goodThe motor is a 1970 304 with an edlebrock alumin intake and 600cfm carb. It's .30 over with a full racing Cam. Attached to it is a Borg Warner T-10 4 speed with a center force clutch. I put all of this in about 4 years ago. I removed the super slow 74 304 (140 hp) and the crappy 3 speed. The 12 bolt rear has higher gears, but not sure what they are (3:73 would be a good guess). Seats were replaced 2 years ago. Heavy Duty leaf springs were added 2 years ago. Master brake cylinder, door and trunk locks were replaced 6-7 years ago. She will snap your neck back and sink you into your seat when you punch it off the line!! The bad. No radioThis year I noticed the hedman headers are leaking and the water pump is starting to seep. Battery is week (starts right up and runs after being charged)Gas gauge doesn't work. I replaced the gas tank float a few years ago. And it worked for a few weeks. But stopped working again. Body is not perfect , but looks great. I know what these car are going for. Wasn't born yesterday. My starting price is more than fair. It's actually below what I'm looking around at in worse condition.
