THE STORY : This truck was traded into us on a new truck due to the customer being frustrated after the motor developed a knock . He just installed a rebuilt transmission. You are looking at a 2006 Ram 3500 Quad Cab SLT 4x4. It is powered with a 5.9L Cummins I-6 and automatic transmission. It is equipped with power trailer mirrors, power drivers seat, power windows, power locks, tilt, cruise, am/fm/cd player, gooseneck hitch, and receiver hitch. Also included are the owner's manuals and one keyless remote. The interior of this truck is in great shape with respect to the age and mileage. The seats are in good shape. The carpet is in good shape . Everything appears to function properly. The exterior of this truck overall is not bad, but the hood is the most noticeble thing. Whoever repaired the front clip from years ago installed a 2005 year model front clip ( don't ask me why). The hood doesn't rest on top correctly. Besides there are some other flaws associated with a work style truck. If you are a serious buyer please call us and we will give you a walk around to make sure it meets your criteria.The windshield needs replacement Mechanically, this truck starts right up and runs , but has a KNOCK. The transmission shifts smooth. The a/c blows ice cold and the four wheel drive functions properly. The front end appears tight. The tires are weak. Overall opinion: I feel a qualified individual can probably pull the crankshaft and rods from the bottom end and repair the engine. It basically has little to no blowby coming from the top. You do not really hear a knock until you accelerate. I have obviously not inspected the inside of the engine ( only God knows how it looks) so I will give absolutely no guarantee to anything other than a great deal !!
