I am selling this original survivor, one family owned 1984 Mercedes Benz 300D Turbo Diesel to help settle an estate. This car has been extremely well cared for, always garage kept and pampered since purchased new. This car has an excellent, straight body, floor, trunk and rust free undercarriage. The entire interior is in excellent condition from the seats and door panels to the dash, carpet and headliner. The car is beautiful with its very nice paint finish and factory sunroof. Now, for the negative. The car has sat stored for a number of years. We charged the battery and started it up and it runs very rough. I don't know much about diesel Mercedes, so that is all we did. It shifts right into gear, the brakes feel good, but it is not running right. To be a safe buyer, you must assume it has engine problems. You may get lucky, but please don't count on it.
