2008 BMW R1200R (Roadster) Purchased new from Touring Sport BMW in Greenville, SC, this was to be my old-man, winding-down machine, and no expense was spared to equip it exactly as desired. Unfortunately, burned out after several very high-mileage years, I just did not ride it as planned. No one has ridden it but me. It was scrupulously broken in. It has never been abused or even ridden two-up. The ONLY two possibly negative issues I know of are the GPS issue, mentioned above, and the fact that the tires, though they have few miles on them, are about 8 years old. For most riders, the tires would not be an issue but, if the new owner lives only to ride The Dragon and believes motorcycle tires should have no chicken strips, fresh rubber would be in order. This is a well-equipped, low-mileage R1200R in mint or near-mint condition. IMPORTANT The motorcycle is currently being serviced by the local BMW dealer in Charleston, SC. The new owner must pick it up from that location, or make other arrangements. A $500 deposit is required within 48 hours of end of auction. PayPal okay.
