Vehicle Detail
1997 Chevy Explorer Conversion (Wheelchair Accessible) Van. Braun platform lift, rear entry, new paint job, rebuilt transmission less than 2 years ago, intake manifold and gaskets replaced less than 6 months ago, new front calipers and rotors, tires are 75%, radiator replaced last year as well. Power windows, door locks, power mirrors (bought on ebay, they function but wired wrong), Power folding bench has been removed for the installation of the lift off of the rear of the van and will be included in the sale. The interior shows along with the mileage but still intact. Both front seats are full power. A/C has a leak that hasn't been found and I got tired of trying to find it. The van runs and shifts through all gears without issues. Front shocks need to be replaced and will be included for you to install. The rear shocks are new with helper springs and were installed approximately 4 years ago. The rear lower valence has a crack. The valence underneath the window covering the windshield wiper area is broken as seen in the pictures. The Braun lift is fully operational, it was fully refurbished 4 years ago as well. Currently one cylinder on the lift is leaking and I believe that they can be refurbished at a shop that deals with hydraulic cylinders. 4 Q-straint retractable straps are included and I would suggest that a shoulder restraint be installed which we never did. The van I would say is in FAIR condition. I have tried to describe this van to the best of my ability. This was my families daily driver and I have replaced it with a brand new mobility van. This is a van intended for a family in need of a low cost mobility van. There is no warranty on this van. If van is purchased I require $150 deposit strictly to cover the cost of relisting the van. If you live locally or fly in to view the van before taking and decide that you don't want the van "no negative feedback will be given but you will lose your $150 deposit to relist the van". If you choose not to view the van and have it picked up or you drive it away after complete payment, then the sale is final with the car as-is. Van is listed locally and I reserve the right to end the auction. Cashier's checks will only be accepted from a bank in my local area and the vehicle will not be released until the funds have completely cleared. Please ask any and all questions before bidding.
