The original 2.0 litre engine was replaced with a professionally rebuilt 1.6 litre engine from a 1969 Datsun Roadster.Professional rebuild by Mississauga Engines. Rebuild consisted of complete disassembly and tanking, re-chrome and regrind crankshaft. New timing chain, New bearings. Cylinder re-bore and new rings. Valves re-lapped and all oil and bolt ports were deburred before reassembly. Extensive body work was performed to remediate rust. Maaco did the final finish and paint. New brakes and brake cylinders all around, new hard and rubber lines under the car. Original side trim was replaced with aftermarket product with similar look. Interior carpet has been replaced. New upholstery on seat cushion and back deck.Soft top and tonneau cover have a number of patches. Driver's side head rest has a small tear at the back right corner. This car is driven daily during the summer months and stored indoors during the winter.
