An East coast rarity. A totally rust free 1997 Nissan Hardbody pickup extended cab 4x4 XE desirable 4cyl stick with locking hubs for those that know the added performance difference. As of a few months ago, the truck belonged to its original owner since new (19 years). It came from the Mid West where they don't salt their roads if it snows. I looked at several of these on the East coast that claimed to be rust free but were either patched/ painted over where there was clearly rust. Nothing like this. It was a second vehicle always garaged, (now still) never abused by off roading. All original with the exception of the cold air intake I added. I have all at the original parts that go with if you ever wanted to delete it. The condition of the truck is self-evident in the unedited pics I posted. I only ever blur the plates. If you'd like to see more I'll have to email separately because I've reached the max with this format. The truck is fully serviced. Totally turn key. Just passed inspection. It starts, runs, shifts, rides, steers, stops as it should without issue. All paint is original and shines like new. There is no touch-up anywhere. The only exception I believe is the PO painted the U shaped tow hook in front some weird red. Nothing a can of black spray paint can't mask, if it bothers you. The wheels are factory,, not aftermarket as some may think. (no road rash) The 2.4 has a timing chain, not a belt. If continued to be maintained properly can last a very long time, they have a very good history of that. As nice as this truck is I feel the need for a reality check. The truck its near 20 years old now. It is not perfect. I am not a dealer. I will not provide any warranty. It is sold AS IS. I have a solid long history with Ebay because I'm fair and honest. I have no patience for anyone I feel is not of like kind. I'm glad to answer any questions and encourage in person inspections. If you make an offer and I accept it it becomes a legal binding contract. Please know and understand all the rules prior. I have no doubt the first person to come see this will be driving it home. Anyone with a realistic offer is welcome to make that appointment.There are several minor flaws such as small dings/ dents and scratches. I've tried to show the worst in my pics. There is an O2 sensor light that has been trouble shot by many that once that once reset will come back on after a few days. No mechanic that has worked on it PO and mine ;have been able to find an actual problem, it runs great! Ruled to likely be a fault with the sensor. I also just put new Monroe shocks all around because it was they were due, It rides nice once more.I will not ship or pay for shipping. Buyers responsibility.
