This is a wonderful opportunity to own one of the finest 1953 Deluxe Cab 5 Window pickups at a very reasonable price.The highly desirable 5 window half ton 3100 model that collectors cherish. A true Arizona native that received a complete restoration, with absolutely no rust issues throughout its life. The photos are honest and taken the day of this listing. The cab and cab corners are in incredible original condition. No replacement panels or issues. The cab, front fenders and hood look to be originals. All the bed panels, running boards and rear fenders are new. The body panels are laser straight. No dents...Beautiful deep blue paint. Red oak wood bed is excellent. Excellent chrome, rubber and window fuzzies. New electric wiring and has been converted to 12 volt. Turn signals added for safety. Gauges have been rebuilt. Boasting the very desirable 235 CID full oil pressure engine that runs extremely well. Obviously, it has been rebuilt in its past. Transmission is excellent and shifts like it should. New tinted glass is in excellent shape, the windshield as well. New original style interior. Brakes have been gone through with new brake hoses. Emergency brake works well. Mirrors excellent. Steering wheel excellent as well. Horn not wired. Newer exhaust. Excellent new tires on the beautiful original rims. The under carriage is nice, honest and clean. No black spray bombs! The photos are evident of the original floor in incredible condition. No replacements panels have ever been necessary. Engine compartment in detailed clean condition, newly serviced. Drives nice, straight and tight...comfortable. The original heater with new hoses are in tact and in very good shape, however like most true Arizona natives, they have not been used. The red oak wood slats on the sides were made to be easily removed or reinstalled, with no subsequent imperfections. Restoration expenditures alone far surpass the very reasonable price.
