Up for your consideration is this beautiful unrestored R/2 survivor with only 29,000 miles. I won't bore you with the worn out barn find rhetoric. However I did run across it some 10 years ago in the back of a garage in Glendale California where it had been languishing for over 15 years. I changed the oil, gave it a good lube job, rebuilt the carburetors, installed a new battery and fuel and she started right up, no smoke out the pipes. She runs, shifts and drives as she should. I did replace the rubber part of the drivers saddle as the original had completely rotted out and was no longer serviceable. I have logged less than 100 miles on her, it seems my other bike and car projects always gets in the way of taking her out. I am the second owner if you want to call it that although I consider myself only a caretaker since I have logged so few miles. She is currently pickled and in non-operation status with the DMV and I have a clear California title in my name. So I need the room and it's time for her to move on to some one who will enjoy her unique character. There are no implied warranties and the successful bidder will be required to post a $1000 nonrefundable deposit within 24 hours of the auction closing, balance to be deposited before transportation.
