Up for sale 1985 Suzuki GS 1150 ES, bike has always been garage kept and the condition shows, this bike is very clean .Motor and transmission drive chain and sprockets are in excellent condition, motor and trans has no seal gasket leaks, tires are new, 100 miles on them.Fork seals did not have any leaks, and I had them changed anyway and had the four carbs rebuilt , nothing was wrong, but this bike sat forever and they had small leaks so they were cleaned rebuilt.Gas take was cleaned, there was no rust, but the gas that was in it was old, so it was drained and tank was cleaned.The carbs need to be set, it is running a little to rich as there is a small pop when bike is started and is cold, when it warms up the pop diminishes, it only does this at ideal, down the road it does not, bike moves quick, there is a trap exhaust system, sounds mean going down the highway.Lights all work, and the speedometer and dash board lights work, speedometer is correct for speed, 65 MPH was 64.6 on police radar, as it was checked.The mileage on it has one number stuck in between to numbers, my guess on this is someone tried to forcible tried to turn back mileage, the original owner informed me that that speedometer was replaced with this one due to the original stop working. The dash lights also go on occasionally for no reason, this speedometer box needs to be replaced (my opinion) and this speedometer box is the only flaw on this bike . Mileage according to the original owners is approx 5 to 6 hundred miles on it , rear rim was widen to accept a wider tire.Any questions please contact me, and Thanks for checking out this bike.
