This is a 1974 500cc Triumph Adventurer. I just rebuilt the top end with new bore and pistons, valve grind. It also has new exhaust header, new rear shocks and a new seat cover. It runs fantastic and always starts first or second kick. I believe the Adventurers were only made for 2 years, 1973 and 1974, and are a fairly rare model. It does not have a battery, but the headlight/taillight works off the alternator. Some items that are missing are the ignition switch, horn, chain guard, and air cleaner. I believe it is a good example to start with to restore or just ride it the way it is. THE BIKE DOES NOT HAVE A TITLE. Ebay does not allow you to put "NONE" in the title box, so I had to put something there. I will write a bill of sale for the new owner. For payment I will accept a $500.00 down payment through PayPal, with the balance to be paid by cash, wire transfer, or a bank certified check. The bike will not leave my possession until all funds have cleared the bank. Shipping will be the buyers responsibility. Please ask all questions before bidding and I will do my best to answer them.
