"Had to relist this item due to non paying bidder" 2001 Porsche Boxster with only 88K miles! Car is in good running condition inside and out. I have had this car for two years now and I have loved every minute of it but I have no Porsche dealerships nearby so I am having problems getting any work done on it and I am also going to be moving soon and I don't want to try and move another car if I can help it. It will need new rear tires which I priced at sears for $280 installed and I bought a new catalytic converter ,which I will include with the car, that needs installed. It isn't having a major problem with the cat right now, I just get a check engine light once in awhile about the cat. I don't like letting things go so I went ahead and ordered a new one. And finally the door lock assembly needs a rebuild kit or just repaired. The power lock on the driver side door came apart so you can't lock the doors. The power lock is working it just needs reconnected to the bar that locks the doors. So I decided to try and sell it as-is now for less money that I will charge later if I get this work done myself. I don't have to sell it right now but if I can move it now I will. So you can get it for a good price now and just have a couple of things to get it in top condition. You will have no problems driving it home if you like or driving it until you can get these things done. If this doesn't sell in this listing I am going to hold on to it and get this work done myself and when I do decide to relist the car it will be for quite a lot more money. The NADA price right now as you can see on the price listing I included with the photos runs from $6175 to $11425 so I am starting this auction at less than the starting book value. I will need a non-refundable $200 deposit through paypal within 24 hours of the close of this listing and the remainder will be due in the form of cash or cashiers check. You may also pay the remainder by paypal if you like but you will have to pay the fees for the transaction with paypal. It is usually only a small percentage and is not hard to do. NOTE TO ALL BIDDERS This is a 15 year old car. It has the usual road rash on the bumper and the little rough spot here and there. If you are looking for pristine paint you are more than welcome to go to your local porsche dealership and pay $89,000+ for a new one, but short of that you can get a pretty nice boxster for a fraction of that price. You can see in the photos the paint is in pretty good condition. The seats you see in the photo have leather factory style seat covers. They are made to match the original seat design. All in all I think it is in very good condition for a car of this year. But all bidders are urged to come see it in person before you bid. Once you bid and the auction closes it is too late to change your mind.
