I have own this 1985 Corvette since February of 1988. Bought with 50,009 miles on it. It was originally gold with tan interior. Around 1993 painted it turquoise (11 coats) with customized interior including cloth/leather seats with turquoise/black as shown. Rarely driven since 1997. Had it serviced every few years. Still runs pretty well. Stored in basement of home or under carport. Original engine. New tires. New battery with 1-year warranty. Had right window mechanism replaced recently; opens and closes a little slowly. Air conditioning does not work. Radio works but with occasional static (maybe loose wire). Retractable antenna works. The hood support rod has been replaced and it bends a bit under the weight of the hood. The cable to open the hood is new. The transmission is 4+3 manual; however, the three overdrive gears do not engage. Replaced cracked plexiglass roof with solid roof. Cloth interior on solid roof has loosened. Digital dash display was replaced some 20 years ago; worked fine until now after not starting it for 1.5 years. Shows more signs of life as I run it. Regarding single accident on vehicle report, I reported it that a tractor trailer's front wheel grazed the rear left fender when he was changing lanes. Took off paint and "sanded" the fender. Very minor damage. I repaired it. Sale includes a second transmission (defective), original roof, extra fuses, Corvette repair book, original roof tightening tool, tire lock, and star screw driver. On Mar-17-16 at 08:56:50 PDT, seller added the following information: About the engine, I want to make clear that I have not driven this car more than 50 miles in the last 15 years, and that's only been for test drives. All I can see is that there was a little oil on the basement floor when I moved it and the engine tends to run hot when it idles. I replaced the radiator some years ago. It leaked a little coolant about 2 years ago when I last drove it to operating temperature. The mechanic gave it a blessing at that time and have barely driven it since. So I do not know what may go wrong with the 31-year-old engine or other parts in the near future.
