2002 Toyota Tacoma SR5 TRD Off-road 4x4 Pickup Truck 23k miles Selling Dad’s 4x4 Tacoma with only 23,000 miles. This is the loaded SR5 TRD off-road optioned truck. It comes with a 5 speed manual transmission, rear differential lock, clutch start cancel, power steering and brakes, A/C, power door locks and windows, cruise control, Toyota factory bed liner, Am/FM radio, full size spare tire and tire tool kit, and a powerful V6 engine. The truck has only had two owners and is in excellent condition for a 14 year old truck. The 3.4L engine starts right up and idles smoothly. The 5 speed transmission and clutch feel like new. Brakes are excellent, stopping you straight and true. The A/C blows nice and cold. All instruments work, no check engine lights, power windows go up and down with no problems. Tires are new Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac 265/75/16s and are perfect for this truck. The truck still had its original tires but were starting to crack from age so in the interest of safety, they were replaced. When the tires were replaced a new set of Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks were installed to replace the original Bilstein shocks. The new tires and shocks give this truck a new vehicle feel. The exterior paint is in very good condition but remember it is a 14 year old truck. There is a small scratch and dent near the driver’s side rear tail light that is visible in the close up photo. The outside of the tailgate has some scratches and there is a scratch on the hood. Most of these could be touched up with some touch up paint. The frame is in excellent condition and was inspected by Toyota and undercoated for future protection. The seats are covered with Cover King seat covers and they look great and serve to protect the factory original seats. Under the covers, the seats look great. The steering wheel cover can be easily removed if that is your preference. The shift knob has been replaced with a very nice grey ball knob. The original shift knob is still in the glove box if you want to go back to original. The bull bar on the front is a nice looking option but can be removed if you like the stock look better. The yellow fog lights are vintage lights that are mounted for looks only. They have not been wired in so no alterations have been made to the factory wiring. The bed extender is a very functional option if you plan on carrying anything and need to leave the tail gate down. With only 23,000 miles this truck is an amazing find. Most Tacoma’s of this vintage are close to 200k miles so this truck should last you another 20 years easy. I’ve put the “Buy it Now” price at the same price as similar Tacoma’s with 4 times the mileage. Don’t hesitate on this one. You will kick yourself if you miss out on this one. No trades, Dad already replaced this truck with an automatic FJ Cruiser. He needs a knee replacement so as much as he loves this truck he rarely drives it due to its manual transmission.Truck is being sold with no warranty as is. Personal inspection is encouraged.
