For several years I have been slowly restoring this Glory Bird. Due to my age and health, I have lost interest. It now needs a new home. The odometer reads 56,150 Due to the age of the car, I am not sure if this is the original mileage. In the summer, I have driven this car on Sundays for a cruise. What has been done: New manifold gasket seals. New Holley High Performance Carburetor. 600 CFM 4 Barrel Carburetor (Old carburetor in box for the new owner.) New Starter New Muffler system New Sequencer Signal Box Spark Plugs and Spark plug Wires Car tuned up last year. Since the tune up, only 200 miles were put on it going to car shows. New Head Liner Replaced two faulty window switches. (Rear Window had its own personality. Some time it functions other times it does not. New Interior Carpeting New Trunk Liner New Noise Insulation on front Hood Installed in trunk 5 disk CD player New Shocks Installed air horn for fun Repaired vacuum system so the steering wheel releases when door opens. What I have not completed. Transmission has a very slow leak. It needs eventually to be sealed. (The car is still drivable.) To be show quality the bumpers need to be re-chromed, but as there are they are very presentable. (See photographs) Some very minor bodywork hand some parts of the car needs to be repainted. Replace clock. I am not sure if the old clock just need to be connected The interior is almost perfect. Has Factory Air conditioning. I never attempted to use it. So I do not know if it is working. Landau Top. (Existing top is very presentable with a small rip in the rear below the windows, (See Photos) Easy fix. I have the material. Emergency brake needs adjustment. I have described the car to the best of my ability. I will include an electrical manual. This model was featured (1968) on Hemmings Classic Car- October, 2010.
