Thank you for viewing my listing. I have a 1972 Plymouth Duster with the mighty tower of power Slant 6 225!! I have owned this car since 8/8/08. It comes with a clean California title in my name. Tags are up to date and expire 12/2016. Automatic transmission, interior has been redone and is in great condition except for a tear shown in picture. Carpet was also replaced. The ceiling also. New vinyl on door panels. No sound system. Didn't have the guts to make holes on panels. Plus the exhaust sounds better! That was done 4 years ago. The engine has been completely gone through. It has an HEI High Energy Ignition. New electronic distributor. MSD ignition coil. No longer points or those unreliable ballast . The starter is a high torque mini starter and is painted in a 2 tone color. The alternator is new from Napa, and is painted gun metal silver. It has an electronic choke. New fuel pump. New spark plugs, Magnecore KV85 competition spark plug wires. Took the head off, had it resurfaced. New head gasket. New exhaust intake manifold gasket. Aluminum intake manifold. Freeze "core plugs" put in. Rebuilt the carb. New water pump. Replaced drool tube gaskets. Transmission has new fluid, bright red. Drained and refilled differential. New fuel filter and mod line, pvc, crankcase breather, every hose under the hood is new, motor mounts in transmission, master cylinder, front and rear shocks, upgraded fan, new battery 10/2015, terminals and wires. Four matching Hankook Ventus, V4ES 235/45ZR17 wearing evenly and plenty of tread left. Rims are 17" Voxx Legra minimal curb rash on one, in really great shape. The wiring in the engine wiring has been simplified. Aeroturbine muffler SOUNDS wicked! A lot of work has been put into this car. A year ago I painted the car myself. Trunk and under the hood has been painted. It is a satin black. Not $5000 paint job but it looks pretty good. Paint is still holding pretty well. All work on this vehicle has been done by me. Plans were to turbo charge the engine, hence the head work, but I must part ways with it. The car runs and drives GREAT!perfect daily driver, Fuel gauge is not working. I am including one to fix it. Passenger rear quarter panel has a couple rust spots smaller then a dime not really noticeable , other then that the car is rust free. The car does have power steering, but a small O ring is was leaking fluid. So I cut the belt off (coming back from car meet) so it wouldn't spray power steering fluid all over the engine bay,A simple cheap $3 fix. Fuel tank was taken out and inside coated. Car is reliable. With all the upgrades it runs better then when it came out of the factory. I would not hesitate to drive across the country with it!
