This is a no reserve auction. The title is free and clear. The high bidder will get this Firebird. This is a good project car for you if you want to restore a Firebird or want to create a Trans Am tribute. This is a 1976 Firebird with a 400 yt coded 481988 engine and a 400 automatic transmission. I believe the drivetrain came out of an early 1970's Pontiac F-body. This is according to my online research. Please feel free to check the numbers for yourself if you are a Pontiac enthusiast. It has a Hurst shifter. It has traction bars. It has a double pump Holley carb. This Firebird has been sitting for awhile. It isn't running at the moment. I can't find a key. It doesn't have a starter on it. I can't turn the engine over with my hands. I found some shims in the floorboard, but no starter. This car is pretty solid, but it has some surface rust and a few pin holes in the rear floor pan. The floors can be easily repaired by the most inexperienced hobbyist with minimal effort. Please see the photos of the bottom of the floors. The bucket seats are present and the back seat is in the car minus one of the rear seat bottoms. This Firebird has a fiberglass Formula hood on it. The grills, taillights, door handles, headlights, headlight buckets, chrome, mirrors, interior parts, and other accessories are inside the car. Please see the photos. Someone started taking the car apart to do some level of a restoration or paint job. Please see the photos of the body. It is a pretty solid car for you to consider. Trunk and quarter panels seem solid. There is surface rust in the trunk, but I didn't notice any holes. Trunk drop downs look good. Look at the fenders. They are usable. The front nose will need some repair. It is useable. Please look closely at the photos. Please don't hesitate to ask me anything about this 1976 Firebird if you have any concerns.
