1963 Ford Econoline E-100 factory 8 Door model! Special ordered from San Jose Ford for Sacramento Fire Dept with factory 8 door bodystyle. Equipped with numbers matching engine and trans, 170cui 6-cylinder and 3 on the tree manual trans. The city used it through the 90s until it was sold to the gentleman that I purchased it from awhile back. The van was ordered with a ton of interesting and unique options such as galvanized body (aka NO RUST) and dual pass battery switches. The van was hit on duty early on in the 70s and was given a salvage title, but the department had it fixed and put it back in service for years to come. It is in good running and driving condition, a TON of work done such as voltage system rewiring, cold air intake, suspension maintenance, wheels/tires, new clutch, rear end bearings, seats, battery, new/rebuilt carb, etc. Its in good running order and drives like it should, it has 86k original miles and I have daily driven it every day for the last year +. It has a pretty straight body and gets tons of looks everywhere you go. Throw the bikes in the back or use it as a camper, back is open so new owner can utilize it how they would like! Title in hand, registered and tagged. It has been a ton of fun but I am on to the next van!
