It runs great and has had the following done to it:Nitrogen front shocks installedNew transfer caseNew front axle and all componentsBrand new soft top from Best top installed. Oil change in engine, tranny, differential and front and rear rear ends. and oil filter installed.New front brakes installed.3in suspension liftOverall tune-up done.As for the car's history, I bought it recently in Louisiana at an insurance auction as a fun project to test out my mechanical abilities. Now it's time to pass it on to a true Jeep lover for a saving! I have photos of the vehicle when I purchased it, and receipts for all items I replaced. (over $3k) I used new parts when I came across any damage, so there is no reason to fear the mechanical abilities of the car. It came with a salvage title and after I rebuilt it had the state police inspect it and then received a rebuilt title from the DMV. The jeep runs awesome! Everything works the way it should... The bad... I like to be honest, so your not surprised! light stone chips around the window on the window framewindow crack on passenger side, (windows are around $125)small dent in right rear corner of the vehicle, appears it backed into something.various light scratches - It's a Jeep!Check engine light is on The 2005 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicons were known to be the best off-roading Wranglers ever made by Jeep and were only produced for a couple of years. As you can imagine, this is a rare and unique car mainly used off-roading. Also, the following are things the new owner might want to do next to the Jeep:Install rear seats - it doesn't have them seems most people want the space more than seats.Install a great sound system - factory one is good though. IF you have questions please ask. I will also attempt to get up a video that I can link to this page. What From what I can tell it looks like the front left driver wheel was ran into a ditch. This bucked one of the front axle stabilizers and allowed the force to be absorbed by the aluminum transfer case. (WHICH broke) Then some people must have attempted to fix since the front fender was unbolted and taken off when I had it, at this point the insurance company must have declared it a total loss.
