This sweet rig was built in Fremont, California 46 years ago and has never left the greater San Francisco Bay Area. This 3 owner truck has spent the last 26 years on a ranch in Sonoma wine county. 4 wheel drive is always a sought after option for a truck, especially a 1970 Chevy 4x4 only 3% came with "K" beginning on the Vin for 4 Wheel Drive . The beauty of this truck is its functionality, as well as it's a desirable 1970 body style which continually go up in value. It wouldn't take much to fully restore or you can leave it and use it as is either way you're winning. This truck is a Solid truck that runs and drives nicely. The Engine turns over first try and runs smoothly with no problems. The Hydra-Matic transmission shifts nicely. The exhaust sounds good. All the lights work, including Headlights, Taillights, Brakes and Blinkers.Cosmetically this truck is in decent shape for being 46 years old, but is not perfect. There are some are some dents on the bed and rust spots on sides, but could be fixed relatively easy. Underneath is really solid with no rust spots. The original color is Hugger Orange with White, it has been repainted in the 80's to Red by the second owner. It does have 16 inch wheels with BF Goodrich 31 inch tires.
