LOOK CLOSELY AT THE PHOTOS, ASK QUESTIONS, AND COME INSPECT THIS 1967 MUSTANG - BEFORE BIDDING! No Surprises for the buyer - I'll try to list everything that I think this Mustang needs or might need. BUT, LOOK CLOSELY AT THE PHOTOS AND ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING! But, please don't ask for the reserve price because the answer you get will be: IT'S LOW! Bid what you're willing to pay. I downplay the positives about this Mustang because I want the next owner to be completely happy and pleasantly surprised at how much better this Mustang is than the description that I give here. I'd rather sell for less and have a happy buyer. Check my seller feedback over the years and you'll know you are getting an honest deal. Comes with a clear title in my name. Anyway, here we go . . . This 1967 Mustang is a bonafide barn find that hasn't been on the road since 1978/1979. It was put away in 1979 with 91,840.8 ACTUAL miles on the odometer. The odometer still shows 91,840.8 miles. I intended to keep this Mustang, but I know I'm never going to give it the attention that I'd like to. The original patina is cool and so different from the trailer queens you see at all of the car shows. This Mustang won't need much attention to be a head-turning driver! Drive it and work on it when you feel like it, then drive it some more, . . . repeat the process. This 1967 Mustang has solid frame rails and solid torque boxes - very little rust for a 49 year-old car. The Pennsylvania registration plate shows 1978 1979. The windshield PA inspection sticker is Feb 1979. This 1967 Mustang is a 'C' code (289 cubic inch engine), with C4 automatic transmission, power steering and center console. THE WHEELS & TIRES SHOWN ON THIS 1967 MUSTANG ARE NOT PART OF THIS AUCTION - These aluminum wheels are genuine Shelby wheels that I am keeping unless the winning bidder decides to make an acceptable offer for the wheels & tires. This 1967 Mustang will come with 'roller' tires and stock steel wheels. The tires that will go with this Mustang will not be roadworthy, but will hold air. This 1967 Mustang has not been operated for the last 37 or 38 years, nor has the car even had the engine started in those 37/38 years - until last week! The next owner will need to go over every aspect of this project Mustang, especially the brakes, radiator, electrical system, etc, . . . The Mustang's original 289 engine started right up with fresh gasoline in the tank. The engine ran smoothly with no smoking. The carb will need some tweaking/adjustment and the engine will need a real tune-up. The muffler and some of the exhaust will need replaced. AGAIN, the next owner will need to go over every aspect of this project Mustang, especially the brakes, cooling, electrical, body work (eventually), everything mechanical and probably more. . . to be sure to be on the safe side. As you can see, there is a 'star' in the windshield on the driver's side, above the driver's line of sight. The rear seat has a tear, there's some grey colored stuff on the driver's seat that I should have removed, but didn't and probably won't get around to. The seat backs are loose in a couple of spots. The console chrome is cracked at the rear, near the ashtray, there are a few small rust holes in portions of the fenders and quarters as well as the trunk lid and under the hood, a 'ding' in the passenger front fender - LOOK CLOSELY AT THE PHOTOS AND ASK QUESTIONS. . . BETTER YET, COME INSPECT THE CAR! The carpet has mostly been removed and the headliner has some holes where mice(?) got in. The floors and trunk have been painted over in black paint. The Mustang's floor is original with the exception of the rear passenger floor which has been patched with an aftermarket Mustang floor panel. The battery apron was repaired and the battery tray was replaced. Did I mention that you should LOOK CLOSELY AT THE PHOTOS, ASK QUESTIONS AND COME INSPECT THIS MUSTANG BEFORE BIDDING? Also, this Mustang cannot be driven away, it must be trailered or moved by tow dolly or rollback. This Mustang is not currently roadworthy - that's going to be up to you. Payment of at least $500 is due immediately upon the auction end. The full balance is due within 5 days of the auction end, unless a PRIOR-to-auction-end-arrangement is made with the eventual winning bidder. The winning bid is the price that is to be paid. Do not come to pick up this Mustang and attempt to negotiate the price. Please have some class and integrity. I won't try to gouge you for more money, don't try to gouge me. The winning bid is the price you pay - nothing more, nothing less. There is no warranty and no guarantees on this Mustang - buyer beware - bid intelligently! Pick-up or Shipping is the responsibility of the winning bidder and will originate where this Mustang is located - in Canfield, Ohio (near Youngstown, Ohio which is about halfway between Cleveland and Pittsburgh). I might consider delivering this Mustang up to 300 miles. There would be a minimum of $50 for delivery within the first 25 miles, then $1 per loaded mile thereafter, but only if it is agreed to, PRIOR to auction end. Now please, go back and read everything again - NO SURPRISES! Check out those solid frame rails! The brake fluid is still dark. I was able to drive the car to test all forward gears, neutral and reverse. Everything worked great. The carburetor needs adjustment because it runs the engine a little too fast. The car takes off. . . Plenty of power! On Feb-13-16 at 06:28:48 PST, seller added the following information: Really close to the $ reserve now - as a reminder, there is some rust and rust holes in the usual Mustang rust locations. Please come inspect before bidding. No surprises!
