Vehicle Detail

Rare 1982 Cadillac Eldorado Hess And Eisenhardt Convertible65k original miles. Every option including touring suspension (which still works), digital cassette stereo with working display, digital dash, tilting and telescoping steering wheel, split dual power bench seats, dual visor lighted vanity mirrors, climate control, power top with boot cover and rare aluminum spoke wheels (not hubcaps). For those familiar with these 79-85 Eldorado convertibles, the Hess & Eisenhardt conversion is considered to be the most desirable. The.top mechanism works easily, the top is made of heavy duty canvas with a thick roof liner inside to keep road noise to a minimum. The top was replaced about ten years ago with the glass back window and "coach lights" mounted on the inside of the convertible top for courtesy lamps. One small rip about three inches long in the canvas on the flat area on top, didn't go through the inside roof liner. Not a stress spot, it hasn't spread after lowering and raising the top. White convertible boot cover in nice condition, snaps on easily. The interior overall is in nice condition, no cracking on the door panels, dash or any of the standard spots that show wear on this era Cadillac. Recent work includes exhaust, front CV joints, master cylinder and new bumper and fender fillers all around. The fuel injected V8 starts with the touch of the key. Everything works including the cruise control, illuminated indicators on the fenders, digital display on the stereo, power antenna, windows automatically go down when top is lowered, power top works without "help" necessary and both the hood and trunk stay open without assistance. The paint is original but still presents nicely and the chrome is good, no fading, dents or scratches. No rust anywhere on the body or undercarriage, the car is always garaged. The Caddy is dependable, always starts easily, runs quiet and smooth and is a pleasure on the highway; will get over 25 mpg with the cruise control set at 70. Classic insurance is $120 a year for full comprehensive, insured for $14k.Selling due to loss of storage, also taking best offers on 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V Cartier Edition and 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado, pix below. Any questions feel free to email or call 914-two two four-3230 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V Cartier Edition, 39k original miles, 400 V8 with all options including moonroof. 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado, 425 cubic inch V8, 385hp, 98k. On Feb-11-16 at 14:53:03 PST, seller added the following information: Rare Blue Moondust 1978 Lincoln Mark V Diamond Jubilee Edition, 460 V8, 29k Original Miles I'm losing storage for my cars sooner than I expected. Combined with unexpected medical bills unfortunately means I have to let one of my favorite cars go. The Lincoln was a southern car until four years ago, purchased from an estate sale down in Georgia. Until I was told I need to relocate my cars I did not realize just how many I had! 1978 Lincoln Mark V Diamond Jubilee, 460 V8, 29k original miles. Rare Diamond Jubilee with Diamond Blue Moondust Metallic paint and Diamond Blue Landau Half-Vinyl Roof with matching padded trunk lid and Wedgewood Blue Luxury Broadlace interior. Options include silver/blue tinted glass power moonroof with sliding shade, color matched aluminum "turbine" wheels, color matched body trim, quarter windows that lower and raise before side windows, "Opera Lamps" on the side pillars accenting the oval opera window (looks great at night) and a simulated diamond chip over the letter "I" of "Diamond Jubilee" in the glass of the opera windows. Other premium options included digital "miles to empty" readout, tilt steering wheel, remote trunk release and auto lamp/auto dimming headlights. Many upgrades including new dual exhaust, Accel distributor (original included), upgraded a/c (ice cold), new shocks and brakes all around and rebuilt transmission last summer. Second owner, finances and loss of storage force sale. Please, be reasonable when making offers; in 1978 the Lincoln Diamond Jubilee Edition Mark V was $10k more than the most fully optioned Continental Mark V. In fact, it was the single most expensive passenger vehicle in 1978. This is an extremely low mileage, well maintained, gorgeous classic Lincoln. From Wikipedia: "The 1978 Continental Mark V Diamond Jubilee Edition carries another distinction as it was, per the 1978 Lincoln brochure, the most expensive American standard-production automobile available in 1978." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lincoln_Continental_Mark_V
