Up for auction is this 1965 Chevrolet K10 1/2 ton factory 4wd Carryall / Suburban. This Suburban was built at the Fremont, CA plant and as far as I know it has spent it's entire life in Northern California. Factory 292 6 cylinder high torque engine with 4 speed manual transmission. Factory clamshell rear doors. Interior upholstery is all original and the factory seat covers are still in good condition for their age. A new set of plastic seat covers were installed to preserve the original upholstery and give it that vintage look. This Suburban has been repainted years ago in the original color scheme and although the paint does show it's age, it still shines well and is respectable. Over the years there has been some minor rust repair done along with some paint blends in areas. Runs and drives well with the following work being done recently: New vintage style bias ply offroad tires, all new brakes, full tune up, new heater core, fan motor, coolant hoses, new battery, wiper blades, and more. All electrical items function as they should besides the radio: wipers, turn signals, factory T3 headlights, tail lights, gauges, dash lights, dome light, etc. This is a great looking and hard to find factory original 4x4 Suburban that should bring years of enjoyment to it's new family.
