Vehicle Detail
For auction is a 1992 Dodge D350 with the 5.9L Cummins, a 5spd manual, and a very rare (I've only found one picture on the Internet like it) sleeper conversion - more details on that later. The odometer says 233,073 miles, but it has been broken for a few years. That said, this truck was owned and maintained as a working vehicle all it's life and has mostly just accumulated long miles on the highway, with regular service intervals. Pretty much every wear part on this truck has been replaced at some recent point. The rebuilt title is due to a deer hit at 150k miles a few years ago. Will get low 20s highway mpg (dependant on driving of course). That's right, move the front seats and the back has a spacious bench that electrically reclines into a bed, a variety of limo-style lights, a small television, and some storage compartments. It's unique and turns a pickup truck into a worthy long hauler.5th Wheel Hitch80 Gallon auxiliary fuel tank with electric transfer pump (drive from here to Colorado without stopping)Very heavy duty front brush guardExtra set of good dually fendersBoost GaugeVolt MeterOil Pressure / Temp GaugesMud FlapsA/C, HeatPower Windows and Power Locks Issues:It's a work truck, and has worked for most of its life. As such, there's an amount of wear and tear in the interior and exterior. The hinges creak, there's a couple dings here and there, etc, etc. This is no $20k minty fresh garage truck cummins. Rust-wise, the frame is clean. There is some rust on the bottom edge of the sleeper section - some of the paint is peeling away. An incorrect lift point incident when changing tires caused the damage to the sides of the bed. It's a Dodge, so the electrics are a little strange - the speedo works about half the time (I use GPS). There is a very very very slow power steering leak (like a shot glass every few months). Mechanically it's 100% reliable and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it to New York and back.
