Vehicle Detail

Sorry for the short description, if you require any information regarding this vehicle, please contact me. I have detailed pictures bellow. This auction is for a 1962 Austin Mini Countryman Traveller Woody, with internal fuel tank. This is a project car (not running) but COMPLETE, it would be a great restoration project. All parts and small bits were carefully stored after car was disassembled. Garage kept, with documentation and its located in Delray Beach, Florida 33444. Personal inspection welcomed. Please use contact seller button for any questions. One of the most interesting things about the very early Traveller and Countryman cars was the internal fuel tank. The tank was positioned on the left hand side in the rear of the car and was trimmed to match the boot. These so-called internal tank cars are easily recognisable by the filler cap being just underneath the rear window on the left hand side of the car. Production of the internal tank cars was so limited that these have become the most sought after of all Mini estates. On Feb-02-16 at 14:44:22 PST, seller added the following information: I have taken some additional detailed pictures of the engine, hopefully it will help with identification. We had the Engine replaced about 5 years ego, and we soon had engine problems. The Shop we took it to at the time (mini specialist), did the engine swap. I am not sure if they simply didnt do a very good job tuning, or if they sold us a bad engine. We just got frustrated and and decided to start over from scratch (complete restoration)... However, that never happened and the car has been sitting in our garage ever since. As far as gearbox, suspension and the res of the car goes, everything seamed to be in good working order before we had engine problems. Another ebay member asked if there was something missing, and the only thing i can think of is the wire harness, It was in pretty bad shape and it will need to be replaced. Unfortunately, i dont know much about these cars to give you more technical information, hence why I encourage personal inspection.Hope this helps.
