Vehicle Detail

My wife purchased this car brand new in 2005 and has been the sole driver throughout it's life except for rare occasions when I have driven it. It has been used primarily for commuting to work and therefore the majority of its mileage has been journeys of at least 20 miles - it's definitely not been a stop/start city car. There have been no children in the car and the interior is very clean and definitely above average for the year (the rear and passenger seats have hardly ever been sat in). The only flaws are a hole in the carpet on the right side of the drivers footwell that is not protected by the floor mats that have always been in place and the center armrest lid doesn't latch. The exterior paintwork has a good shine to it. There are a few minor parking lot dings here and there, but nothing that requires repair. The front bumper is in good shape structurally but the paintwork has quite a few areas of paint missing, as can be seen in the photos. The car has never been in any accidents or had any bodywork repairs. The car has been regularly serviced at the required intervals by the Subaru dealer where it was purchased. We have all the service receipts. At approximately 80,000 miles the transmission and gearbox were replaced, partially under warranty, by the Subaru dealer. The engine starts and runs smoothly and the turbo pulls good and strong. All 4 tires were replaced a few thousand miles ago and have good deep treads remaining. The Kelly Blue Book price for this car as a third party sale $4,587. The reason we are asking $3,200 is because the clutch is nearing the end of it's life and the hood latch doesn't catch properly. Our local Subaru dealer quoted $1,300 to replace the clutch.
