Up for sale is a 1948 Studebaker M5 truck barn find. This is a very rare truck and was found outside Miami. It is a complete vehicle with the exception of seats and door panels. I decided to see if the original flat 6 cilinder engine ran so I replaced the points cap and rotor, cleaned the carb, and also pulled and checked the starter. As a result I got the engine running. The gas tank will have to be hooked up but as with the rest of the truck it is complete. The truck has rust with excellent patina and the body is still solid. I cut out the bed for replacement as they are readily available as well as many other parts online. This truck will make an excellent rat rod or restore Rod. If you search the country it would be hard to find this body style Studebaker truck. I have far too many projects going on to move forward with the m5 and it deserves to be back on the road.
