This Super Sport's ample power is supplied by a stout, 6.2 liter L99 V8 that's based on GM's award winning Gen IV small block. Exclusive to the automatic Camaro, the L99 utilizes a cast aluminum block, high-flow heads, a high-flow intake, an aggressive cam, offset rockers, upgraded injectors and coil-near-plug firing to twist 10.7:1 compression into 367 rear-wheel horsepower and 374 lb./ft. of torque. Take a look behind that mill and you'll find a slick-shifting Hydramatic 6L80 6-speed that's suspended in a proven, road-ready chassis. One of the highest capacity automatics ever installed in a GM passenger car, the 6L80 specializes in either performance algorithm shifting or, if you want to row through the gears yourself, paddle shifting. That tough gearbox spins a limited-slip rear end that's fitted with friendly, 3.27 gears. That drivetrain plays well with a sophisticated, Nurburgring-tested performance suspension, which benefits from Stabilitrak traction and stability control. Variable-ratio power steering and big Brembo calipers combine with factory ABS and electronic brake distribution to ensure this is one of the best handling Camaros to date. A sweet but equally brutal soundtrack is provided by factory exhaust pipes. And power pounds the pavement via painted aluminum wheels, which spin 245/45ZR20 Pirelli P Zeros in front of 275/40ZR20 Pirelli P Zeros. INTERIOR Inside this awesome Camaro you'll find a sculpted leather cockpit that's ready for years of brisk cruising. The car's heated, "SS" branded seats are supple, supportive and provide 6-way power adjustment for both the driver and front passenger.
